1-2 night for us and we had some bad breaks in the football plays like Florida missing a field goal, wide open touchdown throw, and going 1 for 13 on 3rd down and also NC State had 24 points going into the 4th quarter and couldn’t get 1 more touchdown to go over for us. Let me be clear on which Miami this is - MIAMI HURRICANES - don’t bet the wrong one
Tyler Van Dyke will be back at QB and healthy this season and he will look to get back to what he did early last season and in 2021 with this Miami offense of averaging 43.6 and 36.7 points per game. He’s capable of doing it and he should have an improved offensive line to give him time to do that this season, especially tonight vs a lesser MAC team.
Miami of Florida is just on another level at every position because of the advantage they have in recruiting power. They have better players across the board.
I also think Miami of Ohio will struggle on offense despite getting their starting QB Brett Gabbert back who dealt with injuries last year
I like Miami to win this one by double digits
Louisville brings in Jack Plummer at QB who has good experience at the College level and went toe to toe with Caleb Williams and Bo Nix in games last season when those two were #9 and #8
Plummer also used to play for Louisville new Head Coach Jeff Brohm at Purdue so he knows the system
Louisville has added some wide receivers through the transfer portal and returns two very good running backs. Expect a high paced offense and they are going to be capable of putting up points in bunches this season.
Zach Pyron will start at QB for Georgia Tech and he has 3 TDs to 3 INT last season
GT brought in some nice wide receivers through the transfer portal with one coming from Georgia and the other coming from Alabama but the freshman QB needs to get them the ball and this Louisville secondary returns their key pieces who ranked just outside the Top 20 in passing defense last year

Tyler Van Dyke is looking to get back to his 2021 numbers when he threw for 250+ in 8 of his 9 games with more than 1 passing attempt and averaged 325 passing yards per game vs better defenses than he will be facing tonight
The offensive line should be improved, he should have time, and I think he will be looking to open the season with a statement following a disappointing 2022 campaign but he did have 351 and 498 passing yard games last year.

Carlos Rodon will start for the Yankees and the Astros teed off on him last time they faced him less than a month ago on 8/6 when they scored 5 runs in 2.2 innings against him
Rodon has been struggling this season and has a 6.23 ERA in his last 4 starts. The Yankees have also lost 7 of his 8 starts
The moneyline is worth a strong play and safer but the run line is also worth a play. One or the other though, not both!
