Red Sox will have Giolito on the mound who has been great pitching 5+ innings while allowed 2 or less earned runs in 7 of his last 9 starts. The Red Sox bats had their chances but couldn’t come through last night but they are facing Mason Barnett and his 8.53 ERA and they hit him hard last time they faced him so they should be able to score some runs tonight and Giolito shouldn’t give up much. The Yankees will face the Twins and Taj Bradley who has lost all 4 starts since being traded to the Twins. The Yanks scored 6 runs in 5.1 innings against him earlier this season. 4-1 Luis Gil will pitch for NYY and he’s only allowed 1 run in his last 12 innings pitched.
