Well we were 1 yard away from the Rhamondre play, 3 yards away from the Dillon play, and a 21-3 blown lead away from the Broncos play. Don’t forget we closed out the teaser from Thursday Night so we profited on NFL plays yesterday but broke even with Gunnar Henderson going 0 for 5. We still have a nice trend in NFL going 8-3 in our last 11! Good thing there’s a Monday Night Football double header to build on that tonight!
NFL:
7:00 EST
Saints (-3)
It seems too good to be true and I’m sure it won’t be as easy as it feels like it will be but Saints -3 is the play here
The Saints won a low scoring battle last week vs the Titans but Derek Carr still threw for 300+ yards in that game
The Panthers lost 24-10 and rookie #1 pick QB Bryce Young struggled throwing interceptions and was sacked twice for an average loss of 9.5 yards per sack
The Saints defense had 3 interceptions last week fo I fully expect them to force at least one tonight vs Bryce Young. The Panthers also fumbled twice in that game.
I also think we will see this Saints offense score more points than they did last week which should lead to a -3 cover on the road
8:15 EST
Browns (-135)
The Browns dominated the Bengals 24-3 in their opener while the Steelers got blown out 30-7 by the 49ers.
The Steelers allowed Christian McCaffrey to run for 152 last week so I’d expect Nick Chubb to have himself a fucking night against this defense.
That should really allow the Browns to control the pace of this game
The Steelers offense really struggled last week, Kenny Pickett was sacked 5 times and threw 2 interceptions. They were forced into a one dimensional offense when they got down 20-0 though.
The Browns were good against the run last week holding the Bengals to 75 yards so I expect them to slow down the Steelers running game
Let’s take the Browns moneyline tonight
8:15 EST
Player Prop
Nick Chubb Rushing Yards Over (82.5)
The Steelers let Christian McCaffrey run for 152 and the 49ers as a whole to run for 188 yards
The Steelers defense will also be without defensive tackle Cam Heyward who ranked 2nd in the league in tackles for defensive tackles last year
Chubb ran for 106 last week and averaged 5.9 yards per carry
Add in that Browns #1 WR Amari Cooper is considered “unlikely to play” due to a groin injury and the Browns offense should feature a lot of Chubb tonight
