KOOOOOOFSPORTS! 2-1 with a JACKHAMMER puts us up 2.66 units on the week! That’s 3 JACKHAMMERS in the last 6 days so they have been high percentage plays exactly what they have been intended to be. The Alt Line parlay of Cook and Achane hit with 6.5 minutes left in the third quarter so that was easy. Palmer wasn’t involved at all so that was a bad play and shouldn’t have been on the card. On to Friday night to go for our 6th winning day in the last 7! LFG!

MLB:

7:35 EST

Red Sox (-132) - We are able to get a good number on Crochet at -132 because the Red Sox offense has been struggggggling. I’ll take it though because Crochet threw a complete game shutout against the Rays the only time he faced them this season and had 9 strikeouts in that game. The Red Sox bats will face Drew Rasmussen who they come in hitting .312 against so maybe facing him and a hitter friendly park will help the bats wake up tonight. Boston is 1.5 up for the final Wild Card spot and things have been dwindling for them so they should be playing with urgency over their final 9 games.

Cross Sport:

7:40 EST

Parlay

Padres ML / Oklahoma St ML (-108) - The Padres are still playing for the division and get they to open a series against one of the worst teams in the league tonight. Dylan Cease is pitching for SD and he’s only allowed 2 runs over his last 11 innings pitched. The White Sox have lost 6 in a row and really have nothing to play for. Oklahoma St will be home against Tulsa tonight and are favored by 10.5 but we just need them to win straight up. OK St beat Tulsa 45-10 last season. It probably won’t be that lopsided this year since OK St is on their second string QB due to injury and it was ugly against a top ranked opponent last week but this will be a good chance for him to get going in front of the home crowd on a Friday night vs a weaker opponent. It’s import that OK St slows down Tulsa’s running game. Tulsa has lost back to back games to Navy and New Mexico St and OK St has never lost to Tulsa (7-0) so it’s tough to see them pulling off a shocker in Clearwater under the lights on a Friday.

CFB:

8:00 EST

Iowa / Rutgers Under (46.5) - An underestimated game on the Friday slate in my opinion and I think it will be a defensive battle. Both teams have put up big numbers offensively vs weaker opponents but getting these two teams on the field tonight I think we will see hard nose defense dominate this game. Iowa had a 16-13 game vs Iowa St which is the kind of style game I am envisioning here. Iowa’s defense ranks 3rd in the country in opponent yards per play. These two teams have averaged 29 ppg over their last 3 head to head matchups and Iowa has had 2 shutouts out of those 3 games. Look for a Big Ten defensive battle tonight in New Jersey.
