VIP Picks 9/22/25

You win some you lose some and others you just scratch your head on like how the Packers ended up losing to the Browns, Cowboys never really showed up, and Bijan misses by 10 yards because the PANTHERS beat the Falcons 30-0. We basically split on the week which isn’t great but it’s better than losing. Small MLB slate tonight but we have a good looking game for Monday Night Football so let’s see what we can do to start the week with a winning day.

Jared Goff 220+ Passing Yds / Lamar Jackson 200+ Passing Yds (-130) - The Ravens have the worst ranked pass defense in the league coming in to tonight after letting Josh Allen throw for 394 and even Joe Flacco threw for 199 on them. Goff had a solid game last week with 334 and he’s gone over 220+ in both of his games. Look for him to come out throwing tonight. Then Lamar has hit 200+ in each of his first two games. He threw for 357 last time he faced this Lions defense a couple of years ago. You can try to get better odds by taking the adjusted lines up by 10 yds at a time if you want but I decided I feel pretty good at these yardage totals and -130 on Draftkings.

DeAndre Hopkins Receptions Over (1.5) - He’s gone over in both games so far with 2 receptions in each and he’s also scored in each game. He’s second on the team in receiving yards and he leads the league with average yards per catch so far this season at 24.8 even though it’s early, he’s made a couple big plays to contribute to that number. In a game against a high powered Lions offense that scored 52 points last week, it feels like a safe bet to take DeAndre to get 2+ receptions tonight.
