NFL straight plays 2-0, same game parlays sucked, and the Braves sucked. Best news is that we have more NFL and College Football tonight and all weekend long!

Parlay

SMU ML / Phillies ML (-137) 🥇

  • SMU leads us off against BYU and both teams are coming off of big wins vs lesser competition last week. I think the difference in this one will end up being SMU being better on both sides of the ball and being at home on a Friday night. I wouldn’t touch them to cover the double digit spread but I’ll happily throw them in this moneyline parlay at -137.

  • Another KEY factor in this matchup is that BYU ran the ball 70% in their first game and 62% of the time last season. Assuming SMU can slow the run down in this matchup I find it hard for BYU to keep pace with the fire power of the SMU offense especially if they are playing from behind which I expect them to be.

  • Zack Wheeler is pitching for the Phillies and he’s been shutting it down the last month with a 1.62 ERA. He did get rocked by the Marlins one time earlier this season but then he held them to 2 runs over 6.2 innings after that. We can trust him with the way he’s pitching right now.

  • Edward Cabrera is pitching for the Marlins and the Phillies knocked him around for 6 runs in 4 innings less than a month ago.

Saquon Barkley Rushing Yards 60+ 🥈

  • This one is -128 on Fanduel right now so I’m locking in early.

  • The Packers run defense was a weakness last season and they ranked 28th against the run allowing 127 rushing yards per game.

  • Saquon had 86 rushing yards and 2 touchdowns against the Packers at the end of last season. New team and uniform for him but same result tonight, look for him to get 60+ rushing yards.

Jayden Reed Receptions Over (3.5) 🥉

  • Reed had a great rookie season for the Packers and really came on strong down the stretch.

  • He has had 4+ receptions in 9 of his last 10 games

  • He led the Packers in receiving yards and receptions as a rookie last year so I expect him to be heavily involved this year and continue to put up numbers.

  • Add in that this Eagles defense really struggled against the pass last season (ranked 30th) and we have ourselves what looks like a fucking lock and 90% trend.
