Thankfully we went 2-0 on the night game to salvage the day from being a complete disaster but still 3-4 is not good. I’ll be giving everyone a free week extension on your membership because of this weak start to the NFL season. If my plays continue to be that bad I will be retired again before I know it! Looking back at it, I’m shocked the Bengals couldn’t cover, Steelers should have been a moneyline play, and shocked the Lions couldn’t cover the teaser for us. On the bright side, we went 2-0 in the night game with 2 high percentage plays and that’s what we are going to target again for Monday Night Football tonight.

Aaron Jones (Min) Rushing Yards Over (51.5)

Aaron Jones went over this number in 65% of his games a season ago. Now 22 year old JJ McCarthy takes over at QB and is making his NFL debut, on the road. So yeah, Jones should get plenty of touches tonight. He went over in both games against the Bears with 106 and 86 and scored in both of those games. This Bears defense allowed 136 rushing yards per game last season which ranked 27th. Jordan Mason came over to the Vikings for this season but Jones is still the RB1. We actually bet on this same number in his last game against the Bears which he covered for us. Let’s take him to go over 51.5 again tonight.

DJ Moore (Chi) 50+ Receiving Yards (-143)

The Vikings had the 29th ranked passing defense last season and DJ Moore averaged 76 receiving yards per game in his 2 games against the Vikings last season. Good stat there but an even better stat was how efficient he was where he had 15 receptions on 15 targets in those 2 games. QB Caleb Williams is entering year 2 so he should take a step forward in his development and Moore has been his go to guy, Moore led the team in targets, receptions, and yards. This is al alternate line but after yesterday, we NEED 2 winners tonight and this adjusted line gives us a better chance to win.
