Who Will Win the Super Bowl? Our 3 Best 2027 Predictions

Who will win the Super Bowl this year? Through the first three weeks of the 2026 NFL season, KofSports is narrowing the field to three AFC teams: the Buffalo Bills, Baltimore Ravens and Kansas City Chiefs. Buffalo has the shortest price of our three, while Baltimore and Kansas City offer more upside if you're willing to buy a longer futures number.

The market agrees that all three belong near the top. FanDuel's October 2 futures board listed Buffalo at +650, Baltimore at +950 and Kansas City at +1200. On Polymarket's 2027 pro football championship market, Buffalo was trading around 14¢, Kansas City around 8.7¢ and Baltimore around 7.9¢ when this article was prepared. Prediction-market prices move continuously, so always check the live market before trading.

Our Super Bowl Prediction Shortlist

1. Buffalo Bills — Our Favorite

Buffalo is 3-0 and sits atop the AFC East. The Bills have scored 33.7 points per game through three weeks, the highest mark in the NFL, while averaging 401.7 yards per game. As long as Josh Allen is healthy, Buffalo has the quarterback ceiling to win four straight postseason games.

The concern is price. At roughly +650 at sportsbooks and around 14¢ on Polymarket, Buffalo is already being priced as one of the most likely champions. We still put the Bills first on our shortlist because their early-season offense has looked like a championship-level unit, but there is less margin for error at this number than there is with Baltimore or Kansas City.

2. Baltimore Ravens — Our Value Contender

Baltimore enters Week 4 at 2-1 and has scored 30.7 points per game while averaging 398.7 yards. Lamar Jackson gives the Ravens a postseason ceiling few teams can match, and Baltimore's current market price creates a more interesting risk-reward profile than Buffalo.

The Ravens were around +950 at FanDuel and roughly 7.9¢ on Polymarket when we checked. That Polymarket price translates to about an 8% market-implied probability. If Baltimore develops into the AFC team we think it can be, there is also potential for that contract price to rise during the season—meaning traders are not necessarily forced to hold all the way through the Super Bowl.

3. Kansas City Chiefs — Never Count Out Mahomes

Kansas City is also 3-0 and the early offensive numbers are encouraging: 416.3 yards per game, second in the NFL, with Patrick Mahomes throwing for 812 yards and 7 touchdowns through 3 games. After an injury-disrupted 2025 season the Chiefs have opened 2026 looking much more like the contender we've become accustomed to seeing.

The price is what makes Kansas City particularly interesting. The Chiefs were around +1200 at FanDuel and approximately 8.7¢ on Polymarket. Buffalo may be our most likely winner of these three, but Kansas City's longer number gives bettors and prediction-market traders a potentially stronger payout if Mahomes and the Chiefs keep winning.

Why We're Staying in the AFC

The Rams, 49ers, and defending champion Seahawks all deserve consideration from the NFC and the Rams were around +700 on the October 2 FanDuel board. But our preferred futures exposure is concentrated on Buffalo, Baltimore, and Kansas City. DraftKings' AFC title market recently priced Buffalo +315, Kansas City +430 and Baltimore +440, reinforcing how tightly grouped these three teams are near the top of the conference.

Super Bowl Odds on Polymarket

Polymarket works differently from a traditional sportsbook. Instead of locking in American odds and waiting for the final result, you buy shares priced between $0 and $1. A 14¢ Buffalo share represents roughly a 14% market-implied probability. If Buffalo ultimately wins the championship, a winning share settles at $1. If the market moves in your favor before then, you can also sell your shares at the prevailing market price rather than holding until February.

The 2027 championship market is already extremely active, with more than $62 million in reported trading volume when we checked. Buffalo was around 14¢, Kansas City around 8.7¢ and Baltimore around 7.9¢.

KofSports Super Bowl Prediction

If we had to choose one team today, Buffalo would be our pick to win Super Bowl LXI. But we don't think the best way to attack a six-month futures market is pretending there is only one viable outcome. Our championship portfolio starts with Buffalo, adds Baltimore for value and keeps Kansas City firmly in the mix at the longest price of our three.

Our current order: 1) Buffalo Bills, 2) Baltimore Ravens, 3) Kansas City Chiefs. We will revisit these predictions throughout the season as injuries, performance and market prices change.

Final Thoughts

Super Bowl futures are a long-duration bet so price matters as much as the logo on the ticket. Buffalo has been the strongest combination of performance and market confidence through three weeks, Baltimore offers an appealing middle price, and Kansas City gives us Patrick Mahomes at a double-digit futures number. Those are the three teams KofSports wants exposure to right now.
