Review original analysis
When darkness turns to light, it ends tonight. Milwaukee had its chance to finish the job last night before Tampa Bay escaped with a 12-inning win, but now the Brewers hand the baseball to the exact guy they want on the mound with a World Series title one win away. Jacob Misiorowski gets the start on regular rest after holding Tampa Bay to just 1 run over 5 innings in Game 1 and he’s coming off a regular season in which he led MLB with a 1.80 ERA, 252 strikeouts and a 0.80 WHIP. The Brewers are 15-1 in his last 16 starts. The pitching situation on the other side couldn’t look much different. Tampa Bay burned through 7 pitchers in last night’s 12-inning game, including using potential Game 5 starter Nick Martinez for 2 innings and still hasn’t named a starter. Drew Rasmussen would be the obvious ace to turn to, but he’d be working on only 3 days’ rest, something the Rays have been hesitant to do after deliberately giving him extra recovery time this season because of his extensive elbow history. That leaves Milwaukee with a massive starting-pitching advantage and a Rays staff trying to piece together 27 outs after an exhausting Game 4. The Brewers let one slip away last night. With Misiorowski on the mound and Tampa’s pitching staff stretched to its limits, we’re backing Milwaukee to finish the job tonight.

We’re going back to the alt-line formula and buying down 2 star scorers to numbers well below their normal expectations. Maxey has been consistent to open the season, scoring 28, 32, 26, and 29 points, clearing 20+ in all 4 games while averaging 28.8 PPG. His standard line tonight sits at 24.5 and he's attempted at least 19 shots in every game, giving us both volume and a meaningful cushion at 20+. Wembanyama has scored 25, 23, and 29 points in 3 straight, including 29 in only 27 minutes last night and now gets an injury-plagued Utah team with his scoring projection back around 25 points. We don't need ceiling games from either superstar — just 20 apiece.

Cross Sport Parlay Season!! Philadelphia enters 3-1 and gets an Indiana team dealing with a lengthy injury report. The Pacers are already without Ivica Zubac and T.J. McConnell, while Tyrese Haliburton and Andrew Nembhard are questionable, and the Sixers will have their core of Tyrese Maxey, Joel Embiid, LeBron James, and Jaylen Brown available. Philadelphia’s new-look starting group has been dominant in its early minutes together and the Sixers enter as roughly 7.5-point road favorites. On the ice, Washington gets an even stronger setup. The Capitals are 6-4, rested for 3 full days and hosting a 3-7-4 Flyers team playing its second game in 2 nights. Philadelphia ranks last in the NHL at just 1.93 goals per game, has controlled only 39.8% of the expected goals at 5-on-5, and remains without Travis Konecny and Owen Tippett. Washington is priced around -230 by itself, but pairing the Caps with the Sixers gets us essentially even money without needing either favorite to cover a spread. Lock in.

Alt Line action for NBA Tuesday and we are going with some strong trends. Starting with Sabonis 10+ rebounds which is 7.3 rebounds below his season average. He’s had 18, 19, & 15. Obviously he’s going against Wemby tonight which he will probably lose a few to but still averaging 17.3 and needing 10 feels pretty good for us. Then we have Avdija for 18+ points in the late game. He’s had 18 and 26 in 2 games this season plus 25 and 33 in head to head matchups against the Lakers last season. This game has the highest total line on the slate so there should be plenty of scoring.

The Brewers haven’t announced a starting pitcher for tonight but they already have a significant advantage facing Rays starter Griffin Jax who they come in hitting .316 against and actually scored 5 runs off of him before he could even record an out earlier this season on 4/1 (no April Fools). The Brewers look like a team who can’t be stopped right now coming in on an 8 game winning streak in the playoffs including a sweep of the big bad Dodgers. I am always hesitant to bet on bullpen games but the Brewers had the 3rd best bullpen in the league this season. It also usually eliminates opposing lineups from seeing the same guy 2 or 3 times which is an advantage. Another POTENTIAL scenario is if the Brewers get an early multi run lead off of Jax (extremely possible) then they would bring Misiorowski out of the bullpen and that’s basically good night Tampa. The Brewers fans will also be well represented in the crowd like last night.

Chourio is the hottest hitter on the fucking planet right now hitting .571 in the World Series and coming off of a 4 for 5 game last night. He’s never faced Rays starter Griffin Jax but it doesn’t matter who he sees right now, he’s going to get a hit. Then Yandy Diaz who comes in 3 for 4 lifetime against Brewers starter Dustin May. He went 2 for 4 last night despite the Rays loss.

Review original analysis
We’re buying CeeDee Lamb down significantly from his standard receiving line and pairing it with Dallas needing to win straight up tonight. Lamb’s standard line is sitting around 78.5 and the matchup sets up well against a Philadelphia defense allowing 182.6 receiving yards per game to WRs, 3rd-most in the NFL. Volume continues to be the biggest reason to trust CeeDee — he has 69 targets through 6 games (11.5 per game) and is coming off an 18-target performance. We only need 60 yards and his history against Philadelphia gives us another strong trend: since 2022, Lamb has posted 68, 120, 191, 71, 21, 110, and 75 receiving yards against the Eagles, clearing 60+ in 6 of those 7 meetings while seeing 10+ targets in every one. On the other side, we’re taking the points out of the equation and asking Dallas to beat an Eagles team forced to start Tanner McKee with Jalen Hurts sidelined. Instead of laying -4.5 on the road in a divisional game, we’ll pair the Dallas moneyline with a CeeDee threshold sitting nearly 20 yards below his standard prop.

Well fuckin A a missed diving catch and a blown 4-0 lead and we are 0-2 in the World Series for the first time in our lives. Not backing down though and coming back with Rays moneyline tonight with Fredd Peralta on the mound. Peralta has been dominant down the stretch, going 7-0 with a 0.89 ERA over his last 10 appearances, and he’s been excellent at The Trop with a 1.45 ERA and 31 strikeouts across 37.1 innings since joining Tampa Bay. He’s carried that form into October as well, posting a 1.08 postseason ERA, with the Rays winning all 4 of his playoff appearances. Milwaukee counters with Robert Gasser, who has been outstanding himself, allowing just 1 run across 9 postseason innings, so we’re expecting another tight game rather than an easy matchup. The difference for us is Tampa’s home-field edge: the Rays went 55-26 at home during the regular season and are 4-1 at home this postseason. With their backs against the wall, their hottest starter on the mound and a return home after losing 2 one-run games in Milwaukee, we’ll back Tampa Bay to extend this series.

Rams at Raiders

Rams alt spread (-2.5) -144

★★★☆☆

Review original analysis
We’re buying the Rams down through the key number of 3 and asking LA to win by a field goal in Las Vegas. The 2-4 record doesn’t tell the full story — the Rams rank 3rd in the NFL in total offense at 401.3 yards per game and 3rd in total defense at 294.0 yards allowed, while Matthew Stafford leads the league with 1,794 passing yards. That creates a major matchup advantage against a Raiders defense sitting 28th in total defense and 24th against the pass. The Rams originally opened around -5.5, but injuries — including Davante Adams being placed on IR and Puka Nacua now questionable — have helped push the market down toward Rams -3.5. Rather than laying the full number, we’re paying the extra juice to get -2.5, meaning any Rams win by 3+ gets us home. Los Angeles has also covered 5 of the last 6 meetings with the Raiders.

Tre Tucker (LV) Over 40.5 Receiving Yards -113

Review original analysis
We’re backing Tucker’s consistency despite a difficult matchup against the Rams. The KOF model projects 55.8 receiving yards, giving us a strong 15.3-yard edge over his 40.5 line, and Tucker has cleared this number in 5 straight games, 7 of his last 10 and 5 of 6 this season. His recent receiving totals are 97, 41, 44, 43, and 119, and he’s averaging 61.8 receiving yards per game this season. The Rams have been excellent against the pass, allowing only 167 passing yards per game, so the matchup keeps this from being our highest-confidence prop. But at only 40.5, we don’t need Tucker to approach his season average — we just need his recent role and production to continue.
